Maegan Wickstrom, LMSW

Maegan Wickstrom, LMSW attended Michigan State University where she obtained her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Michigan University. She is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Michigan. She spent her career working in various settings including the child welfare system and school social work, along with outpatient and residential facilities. Maegan is a compassionate and dedicated therapist specializing in supporting children, adolescents, and young adults through a wide range of various challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, adjustments, relationship conflicts, anger management, bullying, and school-related challenges. She employs several different evidenced-based therapeutic approaches centered on each patient’s unique needs, including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused techniques, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and a patient-centered approach. Maegan is also trained in mental health first aid and as a TRAILS to Wellness Trainer. Maegan welcomes individuals to embark on their journey towards emotional well-being and personal fulfillment. She believes that every individual has the potential to thrive, and is deeply dedicated to creating a safe place of encouragement every step of the way.
