Marie McMahon, LMSW, ACG

Marie McMahon graduated from Wayne State University with a Masters in Psychiatric Social Work, Bachelors of Social Work from Marygrove College and Associates Degree in Mental Health from Oakland Community College. In addition, she received her ADD coaching certification from ADD Coach Academy. Ms. McMahon is licensed and certified in the state of Michigan.

Ms. McMahon has extensive experience working in hospital inpatient psychiatric units, focusing on group therapy, crisis intervention, discharge planning, and individual patient contact. Ms. McMahon also has experience with grief counseling and loss relating to terminal illnesses. Her major areas of interest include the aging process, geriatrics, marital counseling, mood disorders and ADHD.
