Nancy Tedder, MA, LPC

Nancy Tedder is a licensed professional counselor. She graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling. She is very passionate about working with clients of all ages including adults, teens, and children.

Nancy began her career as a teacher and is currently a middle school counselor with over two decades of experience working with students and their families. She continues to work in depth with her clients of all ages during critical years. Therapy sessions focus on helping patients socially and emotionally gain insight into current situations while striving to improve and gain support.

Her primary interests are with adults, adolescents, children and families in the areas of anxiety, depression, eating disorders, divorce, blended families, self-esteem issues, stress management, and attention deficit disorder.

Nancy uses solution-focused therapy, brief therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and behavior modification while working with her clients on goal setting and developing positive self-esteem.
