Nancy Tedder, MA, LPC
Nancy Tedder is a professional counselor with an educational limited license (LLPC). She graduated from Oakland University with a bachelor of arts degree in Psychology and a Master's in Counseling.
Nancy began her career as a teacher and is currently a middle school counselor with 16 years of experience working with students and their families. She works in depth with adolescents and their families during these critical years. Nancy has extensive background working with students diagnosed with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder both as a teacher and a counselor. She helps students become more organized and academically successful. She conducts therapy sessions with adolescents regarding social, emotional and academic performance.
Her primary interests are with children, adolescents and families in the areas of anxiety, depression, eating disorders, divorce, blended families, self-esteem issues, stress management and attention deficit disorder with and without hyperactivity.
Nancy follows four main therapies: Solution Focused Therapy, Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Behavior Modification Therapy. She works on goal -setting and positive self-esteem.
Nancy is very passionate about her work with children, adolescents and adults.
