Karen received her Bachelor and Master’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. She did additional graduate work at Oakland University, receiving a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling. Her work at Oakland University included a two year graduate assistantship as a Career Counselor in an economically challenged community.
Karen holds counseling licensure in the State of Michigan and is a Nationally Certified Counselor as well as a professional member of the Michigan Counseling Association and the American Counseling Association.
Her interests include work with adults and adolescents in areas of anxiety, depression, loss, career, and relationship issues, with a primary interest in working with women and men in transitions.
