Alexis Homicz, PA-C
Alexis Homicz, MSBS, PA-C received a B.S. in Psychology from Wayne State University. She attended The University of Toledo for her Master’s of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Physician Assistant Studies.
Alexis received training in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine at RCBM during her clinical rotations. While obtaining her undergraduate degree, Alexis worked very closely as a Medical Assistant with a family physician who routinely practiced addiction medicine. She was able to witness the progress and effectiveness of individual treatment plans. Psychiatry has always been a focus in Alexis’ studies, as she wrote her masters thesis on The Correlation Between Autoimmune Thyroid Disease and Mood Disorders.
Alexis believes in a strong patient-provider relationship in order for the patient to receive the best quality of care. Her passion for behavioral medicine motivates her to care for a wide range of psychiatric conditions. Her interests include, but are not limited to mood disorders such as major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder. Alexis is enthusiastic about joining Rochester Center for Behavioral Medicine and looks forward to meeting you!
