Carol received her BA in psychology in 1974 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1984, both from Oakland University. She earned her Master of Science degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing from the University of Michigan in 1987.
Carol has over 30 years of experience in mental health, including severe and persistent mental illness, developmental disabilities, and geriatric mental health.
Carol is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Carol's practice includes all ages from older adolescents through the aging population and all aspects of psychiatric disorders. Carol also treats individuals struggling with opiate addiction. She uses a combination of medication, education, and family intervention in order to help patients break the cycle of addiction.”
