Career Opportunities

For more than thirty years, the Rochester Center for Behavioral Medicine has been a leader in the mental health field. RCBM is committed to providing our patients and staff a superlative experience. We offer therapy, psychotropic medication management and medical nutrition therapy under one “roof,” which offers our clinicians the ability to consult with each other regularly about patient care in a collaborative environment.

By incorporating remote care, we are able to employ talented practitioners from all over the state of Michigan vs being limited to personnel within driving distance. RCBM is insurance-based, so clinicians have steady referrals and are also provided with administrative support for scheduling and billing.

Joel L. Young, MD, Medical Director and Founder of RCBM, is hands-on and has created a professional environment that encourages excellence. Therefore, RCBM employees benefit from ongoing opportunities to learn and develop as professionals through multi-disciplinary case conferences, guest speakers, special interest consultation meetings, and supervision.

Unlike our large franchise competitors, RCBM is locally owned and operated, and committed to offering therapists a fulfilling, supportive, and flexible professional experience. We offer a comprehensive salary and benefits package, with no need to bring your own caseload.

Employees are provided with a laptop and use a web-based, HIPAA-secure electronic health record for patient documentation and communication with other practitioners. Our charting templates make it easy to complete progress notes in session, offering quality of life for therapists to sign off at the end of their day. Autonomy and flexibility are provided to staff, creating a culture of “family first.”

Compensation package includes:

  • Competitive salary
  • Health insurance, short-term disability and liability insurance - all covered at 100% by RCBM
  • Opportunity to opt into self-paid dental and vision plans at attractive group rate premiums
  • 401(k) matching plan
  • Paid vacation and holidays
  • CEUs paid for by RCBM
  • Supervision
  • Opportunity for bonuses

Our salary structure provides reliable income as employees are compensated regardless of no-shows, cancellations, or open schedule times. As an employee of RCBM, you don’t have the burden of paying additional income tax or dealing with other complexities of contractor work.
