Mindy Layne Young is a 1983 graduate of the College of Literature, Science and the Arts at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. She went on to obtain her law degree at Wayne State University.

After a five year career in law, Ms. Young obtained her Masters of Social Work at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. Her primary interest is with adolescents & adults in the areas of individual psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. With her legal background, she is also involved in forensic and custody evaluations.
