National No Name-Calling Week

https://www.rcbm.net/behaviora...Bullying and teen suicide is a rapidly rising issue in the school systems. No Name-Calling Week was founded to improve community awareness to help in the fight against bullying and is supported by the Safe Schools Improvement Act. Thousands of schools across the nation participate in this awareness every year by integrating educational materials about verbal bullying into their curriculum. By raising awareness staff and students alike can learn the harmful effects of bullying and ways to put an end to it, creating a safe and healthier learning environment

Not only could verbal bullying affect a child's ability to properly learn in the school systems, it could also have a negative impact on their self-esteem and over-all mental and physical health. If you or someone you know is being bullied, please tell someone. If your child is being bullied and you would like for them to see a mental health provider, please call us at 248-608-8800 to set up an appointment.

By taking a stand against hateful name-calling, together we end verbal bullying and harassment.
