Holly Watt, LMSW attended The Ohio State University where she obtained her Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work. She received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Michigan State University. She is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Michigan. She has spent her career working at various places as a therapist including the foster care/child welfare system, a school for children and young adults with autism and other developmental and physical disabilities, along with an agency providing psychotherapy to all ages and for a range of disorders. She has experience in providing individual and family therapy to all ages. She uses several different therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, play therapy, modeling, role playing, active and empathic listening along with teaching coping and self-care skills. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages and has a great deal of experience in working with adolescents and young adults. She has experience working with children and adults with ADHD, along with experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, anger and behavior management, family conflict, autism, women's issues and emotional struggles (bullying, divorce, etc.). Holly enjoys providing her patients with the knowledge and tools they need in order to achieve their mental health goals and wants her patients to feel seen and heard by creating a safe, supportive environment that allows her patients to achieve their personal goals.
