Karolina Redziniak, MA, LLP
Karolina obtained her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Psychology from Wayne State University and holds a masters-level psychologist license. She trained in Detroit, at Wayne State University Counseling and Psychological Services where she provided individual and group therapy, along with mental health outreach to students. She has a background working in research as well as medical education.
Karolina believes in addressing everyone’s concerns with empathy, attentiveness and their entire well-being in mind. She values the uniqueness and complexity of each and every individual she works with. She uses approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, interpersonal effectiveness and positive psychology to equip the patient with insight, knowledge and skills to improve their overall life functioning.
Some of her interests include health psychology, resilience, mindfulness, parenting, and immigrant assimilation issues. Having worked in research and medical education in her previous career, she has a special interest in supporting individuals who work in the medical profession. Karolina has experience in treating a variety of mental health conditions related to stress, career/personal life imbalance, insomnia, trauma, relationship difficulties, academic performance and financial issues.
