Karolina Redziniak, MA, LLP
Karolina obtained her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Psychology from Wayne State University and holds a masters-level psychologist license. She trained in Detroit, at Wayne State University Counseling and Psychological Services, where she provided individual and group therapy, along with mental health outreach to students. She has a background working in research and medical education.
Karolina takes a holistic approach to treatment. She values the uniqueness and complexity of each person she works with and believes in integrating mental and physical techniques in treatment. She is trained in EMDR, polyvagal theory, and cognitive behavioral therapy (including CBT-I). She frequently uses mindfulness-based strategies, EMDR, ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), and CBT.
She has experience working with diverse patient populations, including medical professionals, pregnant women, families/couples, parents, children of divorce, immigrants, and individuals who experienced trauma. When working with couples, she is passionate about helping couples navigate complex issues ranging from the trauma of betrayal/infidelity, communication, and sexual issues, and assists couples in reviving their love and friendship.
Karolina has over 15 years of therapy and research experience in working with a variety of mental health conditions.
