Marie Adkins, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Marie C. Adkins, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing comprehensive psychiatric care, medication management, and mental health evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Michigan State University and has extensive experience in outpatient mental health care. Marie specializes in the treatment of ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, trauma/PTSD, and mood disorders. She has a strong clinical interest in working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autism spectrum disorder, as well as members of the LGBTQ+ community. Her approach is holistic and evidence-based, integrating medication management, psychotherapy collaboration, and lifestyle interventions. She is committed to creating a supportive, inclusive, and affirming environment where patients feel heard and empowered. As a mother of a neurodivergent child, Marie brings both professional expertise and lived experience, allowing her to deeply connect with individuals and families navigating similar journeys.
