Rachel Sabbath, MSN, RN, PMHNP-BC
Rachel Sabbath is a certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her undergraduate degree in nursing from University of Michigan and her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Wayne State University. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Rachel practiced nursing on an adult medical unit at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. Rachel has also spent the last four years working as a nurse at Michigan Medicine Mott Children's hospital on the inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric unit. Rachel has years of experience teaching, modeling, and coaching children and teens on the use of coping skills and is a big supporter of cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapies. As a nurse practitioner, Rachel aims to collaborate with patients of all ages to find a regimen that meets their goals. Rachel believes in the importance of holistic care and of building sleep, nutrition, exercise, time management and leisure activities into the treatment plan. Rachel is a certified telehealth provider.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys the outdoors, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her dog Ollie.
