Stacey Goodman, MT(ASCP), MSN, RN, ANP-BC, PMHNP-BC

Stacey Goodman, MT(ASCP), MSN, RN, ANP-BC, PMHNP-BC is a double board certified Adult Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, whose career in healthcare spans 21 years.

She attended the Michigan State University and achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology.  She is a medical technologist, board certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and is a twice graduate from Wayne State University, having obtained both her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Nursing.  In addition, Stacey achieved her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Post-Graduate certification from Saginaw Valley State University.

Stacey began her nursing career practicing in both critical care and perioperative services in the hospital and ambulatory settings. As a nurse practitioner, Stacey specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. While divesting her time between the office, hospital and sub-acute rehabilitation settings, she cared for and treated patients, with acute and chronic debilitating injuries, chronic pain syndromes secondary to joint and muscular issues, and post-stroke conditions.

Throughout her career, Stacey has found that her focus and underlying passion in her nursing practice is the biopsychosocial aspect of health. Joining the complex interplay of mental, emotional, social and spiritual dimensions of health, along with physical health, is paramount to obtaining an overall sense of wellness. Stacey is committed to taking this holistic approach in the care of her patients.  Stacey is interested in caring for all behavioral health conditions across the lifespan, but her focused interests include ADHD, anxiety, major depressive disorder and the emotional aspect associated with chronic pain in both adolescents and adults.

Stacey is a loving wife and mother of two children.  In her spare time, she loves to read, exercise; preferably spinning or doing Pilates, and she enjoys cooking for family and friends. Additionally, Stacey enjoys spending a small portion of her summer as part of the medical staff at a local overnight summer camp, where she spent many memorable summers as a camper and staff member, caring for both school aged and adolescent children.
