Tracy Johnson, MA, LPC

Tracy obtained her Master’s degree from the University of Detroit Mercy in Community Counseling. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, with a strong background in working with adolescents and families in outpatient and residential settings. Throughout her professional career, Tracy has worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, trauma, grief, behavioral issues, transitions, substance abuse, sexual behavior problems, self-esteem issues, postpartum, and mood disorders. She uses a variety of treatment approaches to meet each person’s needs. These approaches include cognitive behavior therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing. For children and adolescents, Tracy incorporates creative and engaging activities. Tracy believes in creating a collaborative, safe, non-judgmental environment for her patients.
