Ashley Crowder, LPC
Ashley is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Ashley Crowder graduated from Oakland University with a Master of Arts in Counseling. Ashley’s treatment styles are person-centered therapy and solution-focused therapy. Ashley also uses cognitive behavioral therapy, exploring how thoughts and behavior interact and work together to create new, more adaptive cognition and behavior patterns that can lead to better life outcomes.
Ashley works with individuals, children ages six and up, as well as adults, who are dealing with navigating anxiety, depression, or feelings of intense stress or feeling overwhelmed. Ashley is certified in dialectical behavior therapy. Ashley took specialty courses in marriage and family therapy and has experience working with various couples and families. Her preferred marriage therapy method is based on the work of John Gottman, but she will use a variety of other approaches tailored to each unique couple or family she sees.
Ashley is friendly, easy-going, laid-back, and open to working with everyone, regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or belief system. Ashley will listen to all patients empathetically and not criticize or pass judgment.
