Kendra Ball, LMSW
Kendra Ball is a fully licensed social worker in the State of Michigan. She earned her Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Michigan and her undergraduate degree in Social Work from Wayne State University. Kendra has been practicing for over ten years and specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and substance use disorder. Her practice encompasses dialectical behavioral-informed therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
Kendra prides herself on continually working to create a judgment-free, calming space for those struggling. While each client’s path is unique, each story deserves to be heard. Kendra is passionate about being an advocate who will not only listen but also hear and will offer the space needed to heal. True healing comes when we can own our story instead of it owning us.
In these trying times, Kendra feels it is of extreme importance that each individual takes time for themselves and has a safe space to discuss the ongoing impact of what we are dealing with today. This is a different time to live in, and what matters is that we take care of ourselves and continue to strive for what we want and what we need.
