Olivia Nash, MA, LPC, NCC

Olivia earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology and her Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Oakland University. In addition to her general coursework in Counseling, Olivia completed an advanced specialization in Child and Adolescent Counseling. 

Olivia has experience working for non-profit providers and in the university setting. She is familiar with the child welfare system, justice system (primarily juvenile justice), community mental health, and vocational counseling. She has extensive experience and knowledge in working with individuals who have experienced trauma. 

Olivia has worked primarily with children and adolescents, however enjoys working with all ages. Her approach is open and engaging, always maintaining respect for her clients and their treatment goals. She uses a variety of treatment approaches as she is aware that everyone’s needs are unique. These approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing, along with brief strategic family therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy informed, and trauma-focused CBT.
