Taylor Drozd, LMSW
Taylor Drozd is a licensed social worker specializing in clinical mental health. Taylor studied at the University of Michigan, earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and French. After working for several years in New York, she earned her Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from University of Illinois Chicago's Jane Addams School of Social Work. Taylor uses a strengths-based, person-centered approach with each individual based on their personalized history, strengths, preferences, and needs. She aims to create an approachable, warm, safe, and comfortable space for each patient. She uses a variety of evidence-based practices, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and psychoeducation. She has a concentration in working with emerging adulthood. She identifies her clinical strengths as working with anxiety, depression, life transitions, interpersonal issues, grief & loss, along with Autism Spectrum Disorder. During her Master's program, she worked in a Chicago-based behavioral health clinic, delivering psychotherapy deeply rooted in trauma care. Additionally, she has worked with Ele's Place for grieving children and Gigi's Playhouse for empowering young adults with Down syndrome, along with case management for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Taylor is passionate about interdisciplinary behavioral health care and empowering individuals in navigating their challenges and goals.
